It is no doubt that there are men who believe what they do would result in no consequences and their actions reflect their upbringing and lack of respect. This can be changed through better parenting focused on explaining why respecting women and abiding by laws are important.

Sensitisation of police

Police should be sensitised to the fact that FIRs should be taken into account ASAP rather than further notice or evidence to show up in order to help make women feel safer once they have been mistreated.
